Places of my Year 2011

Like my list of unforgettable places in 2010. Here it is for 2011.

1. Changi Airport, SG- one of the most beautiful airports in the world that I've been to.

2. Robertson Quay Hotel- simply our home in SG.

3. Limketkai Mall, CDO- a place to go when in CDO. Just love to come here for a walk every afternoon.

4. Bukidnon- There was a time last year that I feel very exhausted with some stuff. My journey to Bukidnon was indeed the answer. Had also the chance to visit some of my relatives.

5. Cebu City- After living and working in Cebu for a few years, I had to leave the place and say ' til I see you again' to my good friends who have been with me since 2008. Missed the place and of course my friends but will never say 'goodbye' instead 'til I see you again' Cebu!

Amazing Singapore

It's 1/1/11! I am sure that this year will be another promising year for my page just like the past year. Oh! It was only yesterday.

Exactly a year ago, my partner and I celebrated our new year in Singapore. I can't help but reminisced our time together. Nothing really compares to the feeling when you are with the person you love. The photos below are the places we like or we frequent when we were in Singapore.

Chinatown Singapore--our favourite destination almost every night since it is only a walking distance from where we stayed.

Sentosa Singapore Adventure

Welcome to Sentosa

On board Sentosa express, we headed to Sentosa island one sunny morning during our stay in Singapore. It was actually in our original plan to visit Sentosa the first time we visited Singapore together so I was all excited as I heard a lot of stories about the island like how it served as a British military fortress during the world war II.

We started our island adventure by visiting  The Images of Singapore museum which exhibits the history and culture of Singapore. We were entertained by how they presented the past events and festivities in Singapore as we walked around.

Our next stop was the Segway plus the Luge and Skyride. All the rides were very exciting so we always waited in line just to try all of them.

Aside from the rides, there are other things that you can do while in Sentosa as they offer a lot of outdoor activities. You can also head to the beach side if you'd like to or relax and pamper yourself in one of their luxurious spas. 

Singapore and F1 Grand Prix

I never thought of going to Singapore if it wasn't because of an invitation from my partner to watch a live Formula 1 or F1 night race.

My perception about Singapore has greatly changed when I went there last September 2009 ( 'twas the day after typhoon Ondoy had its landfall in the Philippines). A day that I would never forget in my entire life. From being soaked by the rain on my way to the airport in Manila, I've arrived in Changi blessed with a warm, sunny Singapore weather. I was so amazed on how everything works and indeed it's all true that Singapore is a very clean country.

On our second visit, we enjoyed our walk along Orchard road, the Chinatown and Clarke Quay at night, the exciting rides at Sentosa beach, drinks and peanuts at Raffles bar and of course who would never forget the sumptous dishes at their many hawker food centers. Much about the place, let's talk about Formula 1.

Singapore is the only country where you can watch F1 night race. Yes, it was the first time I've ever seen a live F1 race though I've been a fan since then. The thrill, the excitement, the superb engineering, the pit stop and the noise...imagine all of that in one event. I took the photos below during my first day in Singapore just before the F1 grand prix.
